Summary
Eamon O’Donoghue was born and raised in Cork Ireland and graduated from Waterford Institute of Technology.
After working for various top design agencies once leaving college, he decided to go freelance in 2004 in the hopes of making a bigger dent in the world of illustration and design.
Eamon’s workload includes DVD covers for new and old animated series, fantasy and science fiction book covers for the world’s top publishers including Random House and Hachette.
He’s other work includes jobs for Hasbro doing style guide art and development for various properties, illustration work for Mattel, packaging design for high-end collectibles and action figure and vehicle design for Mezco.
He is also recognised by his luscious pinup art, which has gained him some notoriety in some corners of pop culture fandom!
Eamon uses both traditional and digital rendering techniques to achieve the wide variety of styles you see in his portfolio.
His dreams? hoping to get movie work some day.
